Chapter One[/u] A life without Jacob Black? Renesmee had never been able to imagine a life without Jacob in her life. Though she couldn’t picture her life without anyone in her family it was different with Jake. There was a different love there. Her parents love her because, well they were her parents. Jacob’s love was different and everyone knew it. Sure her father didn’t want them to be together because of the age different plus Edward and Jacob never really got along. They fought over her mother before she was born. Maybe that was why Edward acted like he did. But Renesmee never did like listening to her father when it came to Jake. But then Jake stopped coming to see her. He never gave her a reason he just suddenly stopped coming to see her. At first she just thought he was busy and would come back when he had the time but then a few says of not visiting turned into two weeks. If something had happened he would have told someone and she would have heard about it. But there was nothing. It was hard enough trying to act normal when she went to school without always thinking about where her Werewolf friend was. After another ‘wonderful’ day at Forks High School all she wanted to do was go to her room and curl up in bed but at the same time she wanted to run to La Push and see what was going on. There was no reason for her to be ignored for this long. Even her parents had stopped bringing Jake up. It was like everyone was erasing him and he was erasing them at the same time. But that couldn’t be happening. You couldn’t reject an imprint. It wasn’t possible. Once she pushed through the door she slammed it behind her and dropped her bag on the floor. “Not so loud Renesmee.” “I’m sorry Aunt Rosalie.” Her voice dripped sarcasm as she started walking up the stairs with her back to her aunt. “Well aren’t you a ball of sunshine today.” “Is Jacob here?” “No, the puppy isn’t here.” Distaste was evident in Rosalie’s voice. The two really didn’t like each other very much. All they did was throw insult after insult at each other. “Then I’ll be in my room.” Rosalie rolled her eyes. “Don’t you have school work to do?” Renesmee kept up the stairs heading for her room. “Yes and I don’t plan on doing it. There’s no point for me to even go to school there, it’s so stupid.” “You have to go to school young lady.” It was her father’s voice this time. He had just come in through the front door with Bell right behind. Renesmee turned on her parents and aunt. Holding the banister for support she glared down at the small group. “What’s the point? I don’t want to go to school everywhere we go over and over again. I don’t want to be the freak that has sudden flashes and has a panic attack in class. I want to be NORMAL!” She paused and took a step back and in a small voice added. “I want Jacob.” With that she ran to her room and slammed the door behind her. She could hear them start yelling through the door. “Why does she always want him? Jacob isn’t always going to be there for her.” “Edward, stop it.” “No Bella he’ll age and Renesmee needs to realize that she wont always have him.” “She’s a child. Let her dream.” “He chose not to see her, he told us himself that he wasn’t coming back, that she needed to forget him.” “Edward she can hear you!” It was Rosalie’s voice this time. But it was too late for her to save what had been said the damage was done. Renesmee had already heard it. He didn’t want to see her. That was why he wasn’t there. In the blink of an eye Renesmee was running past her family. Her father grabbed her first. “No, let go!” “Renesmee, stop.” Edward held tight to his daughter. Her heart was beating faster then its usual accelerated rate and he knew that she was likely to faint if she didn’t calm down soon. “You can’t force him to see you.” “It’ll be fine Renesmee.” Bella reached out to touch her daughter but Renesmee wouldn’t stop moving. She looked hurt when she realized how upset her daughter was with what was happening. Renesmee had always had Jacob there and suddenly he was gone, as if he had never been. It truly was cruel and everyone knew it. Bella had tried to convince him to come back to see her daughter but he wouldn’t listen to her. She truly didn’t understand why Jacob decided to stop all contact. It just didn’t make sense. “I can talk to him.” “NO! If he doesn’t want to see me he can tell me himself. I wont be treated like a child any longer.” Feeling her fathers grip loosen she pulled out of his hold and started running for La Push. There was going to be hell to pay for what Jacob had done. He couldn’t just act like she wouldn’t come looking for him, but clearly he thought she would just give up. Renesmee Cullen never gave up. His sent was in the air before she reached the Reservation. She stopped running about a hundred feet from him. Grabbing a rock she threw it at him. It hit him in the left shoulder making him lean forward from the impact. Slowly he turned to face her. “What was that for?” Without a word Renesmee reached down for another rock but before she had a chance to throw it Jacob had her wrist in his hand. She hadn’t thought about him running at her when she was thinking about throwing stones. Yanking her hand back she pushed him back. “Don’t touch me!” “Alright, I wont touch you.” Jacob held his hands up and took a step back from Renesmee. He was trying to keep his gaze from scanning over her like it usually did when they were together. He truly was beautiful, he couldn’t deny that. “Why did you throw a rock at me?” He gave a smile to try and lighten the mood. “Why did you tell my parents you weren’t coming back?!” The smile evaporated from his face at the question. He hadn’t expected them to tell her. “Nessie, you- you weren’t supposed to find out I said that.” “Yeah, I was just supposed to forget about you is that it? Just because you can forget about me doesn’t mean I can do it as well.” All she wanted was to keep tears from coming. She refused to let him see that he had hurt her enough to make her cry. “I never said I could forget about you.” “Oh please Jake I’m an idiot.” “I did this for you Nessie.” Renesmee shook her head. “No you did it for you. You want someone to grow old with Jake I understand that, I’ll never look any different.” She turned and started to walk away from Jacob. This wasn’t going to go anywhere because he wouldn’t admit to why this was happening. “You never should have imprinted on me.” The grip on her arm was like stone. Jacob slowly calculated his options in his head. None of them had a good outcome because either way Renesmee would storm off. The girl was too hard-headed, just like her mother. “You think I don’t wish that?” That was when she truly felt her heart shatter. She tried to pull out of his hold but she couldn’t bring herself to fully move. “I knew you regretted it.” Her voice cracked as she spoke the words. “You couldn’t love a vampire right? You never should have acted like there was a chance when you never truly wanted me!” With each word her voice got louder until she was screaming at him. “Go back to La Push Jacob Black you’re not welcome over the treaty line.” “Renesmee-” “No!” Her voice was shrill and filled the air. “You did this and I will never forgive you for it. I was never who you wanted because I’m not my mother.” Renesmee had never lost her balance before. She had the grace of a dancer but When Jacob pushed her away from him she actually felt herself falling and then making contact with the ground. Once he realized what he’d done Jacob tried to pull her back up. “Nessie I’m sorry, I didn’t mean it.” Renesmee pulled herself to her feet and pushed Jacob back. “Get away from me Jacob. I never want to see you again.” “Nessie please, don’t act like this. You don’t understand why I’m doing this.” “I don’t care why! Its done Jacob, go back to your own kind.”
Chapter 2[/u] “Nessie will you please come out of your room?” “No.” “Renesmee Cullen come out of there right now.” “No.” Bella sighed and walked away from the door and back down to the front room where the rest of the family was. They’d known something was really wrong when Renesmee had come back in tears and started heading right for her room. Edward had grabbed her at first but she fought like a tiger to get out of his hold. He finally gave up and let her go into her room where she’d been crying for the past two hours. “She wont come out.” “She’s not going to Bella.” Alice rubbed her hand down Jaspers arm not turning to look at her sister-in-law. “Did you see that?” Edward asked. Alice shook her head still not looking away from Jasper. “No, she’s hurt and we all know that Jacob is the only one that will get her out of there but since he has decided to no longer be involved with our family she’ll stay in there.” She took Jaspers hand and stood up while he stayed seated. “Maybe we can talk to her?” Rosalie laughed. “Just because Jasper can change how she feels doesn’t mean she’ll come out of the room. Renesmee knows that he can do that.” Emmett put his hand on Rosalie’s shoulder. “She’s a teenager we all are going to have to get used to how she acts.” Esme, always the word or reason, stepped into the conversation. “She’ll come down soon. It’s almost time for dinner.” She smiled trying to brighten the mood. Her family was the most important people to her. After Edward found Bella she thought that the family was finally complete. None of them would ever be alone. Then came Renesmee, the beautiful baby girl that fell in love with someone that she could truly never be with. Now there truly was no way to help this one get what she wanted. Werewolves couldn’t be with vampires. Vampire venom was almost fatal to them. Well Renesmee’s wasn’t because she wasn’t a full vampire. That was why Jacob wasn’t so badly affected by when she would bite him. “I’ll go see what she wants.” That was one of Esme’s favorite things about Renesmee being half human. She got to cook new foods at least once a day. Walking up the stairs she knocked on the door before letting herself in. That was the good thing about being the family matriarch she didn’t have to ask for permission because she was in charge. Renesmee looked up from her pillow. Her eyes met Esme’s for a moment before she looked down again. Her room was in shambles. There were picture frames thrown around the room, the mattress was half off the bed, clothes were thrown around, and one of the windows was spider webbed from something impacting it. Renesmee was sitting against the footboard of her bed with her knees against her chest. “I’m sorry about the room.” Her voice was childlike and it broke Esme’s heart to hear her like that. “What did he say?” Esme closed the door and took a seat next to her granddaughter. “It’ll just be between us.” “He’s doing this for me, that’s what he told me.” She paused. “Esme I told him I wish he had never imprinted me and he said he did too.” Leaning against her grandmother Renesmee curled up trying to be as close to her as she could be. “He can’t be with a vampire that’s why this is happening.” Esme held tight to Renesmee. “Oh Nessie everyone wonders why things happen to them. Jacob is making a mistake not being there for someone like you.” She kissed the top of Renesmee’s head before resting her chin there. “Why don’t you come downstairs? We can make some food and watch a few movies.” Renesmee laughed. “You don’t eat food.” “So? I still know how to cook.” Esme stood up and pulled Renesmee up with her. “Come on, Edward and Bella and worried about you.” “Dad’s probably ready to kill Jacob.” “I think he might be as well but that doesn’t matter now. Jacob Black isn’t important right now so let’s not worry about that.” Opening he door Esme walked out followed closely by Renesmee. They walked down the stairs and stopped in front of the rest of the family. Bella wrapped an arm around her daughter and held her close to her. “She’s fine Bella, we’re gonna watch a few movies.” “Can I come along?” Bella looked at Renesmee when she asked. “Yeah.” Alice smiled and took a step forward. “Me too?” Renesmee laughed and looked at her other aunt. “What about you Rosalie?” Her aunt Rosalie had always acted like another mother to her. Rosalie had always wanted to have a baby and Renesmee was the closest thing she would have to one. Rosalie thought on it for a second and shrugged. “Alright.” The girls walked away from the group and headed for the kitchen. Alice grabbed a bowl out of the cabinet to put popcorn in. There was no need for the huge bowl since only Renesmee would eat it but it did feel nice to have a bigger bowl. It made them feel like they were a normal family. Alice jumped and the bowl fell to the ground and shattered at her feet. “Alice what’s wrong?” Esme took her daughters arms in her hands. “Alice?” Alice looked at Renesmee and then Jasper who had come into the room. “They’re coming for us.” “Who’s coming?” Edward put his hand son Renesmee’s shoulders. “The Volturi.”[/size]

Chapter Three “They can’t, we haven’t done anything wrong.” Carlisle walked closer to Alice and took his wife’s hand in his. “Alice what did you see?” Alice looked at Carlisle and shook her head. Carlisle took a step closer to her blocking Renesmee from Alice’s view. “What did you see?” “They want us. Not the whole group, just Bella, Nessie and I. They’re going to- I saw what they’re going to do Carlisle. It’s horrible. Something has to happen to make them come here.” Alice grabbed onto Jasper and held tight to him. She buried her head in his shoulder. Jasper put his hand on her shoulder and Alice started to visibly calm down. “What happens Alice?” Bella stepped forward. She stopped and looked at Edward who was clinging to their daughter. He had seen what Alice had right from her head. “Edward?” When he didn’t respond she moved closer to him. “Edward what’s going on?” “They’re going to- Alice saw them kill everyone but Renesmee and Alice. We tried to protect Nessie.” Renesmee touched her fathers hand so she could see what they had actually seen. She felt vomit creeping up her throat. The Volturi were vicious in what they did to her family. But there was another body there, one that wasn’t part of her family, Jacobs’. “No.” She shook her head and looked at everyone. “They can’t.” “Something would have to happen to make them come here. Something that could expose us.” Carlisle looked around the group but kept his eyes from Nessie. Everyone knew what he was getting at. Someone was going to either kill someone or attack a person where others could see. “None of us would do that.” Edward said in a cold voice. “We would never.” Renesmee moved away from her family and walked to the window that overlooked the forest. “Then something else has to be happening.” She turned to her family and took a deep breath. “What if its like before and someone went to them to cause trouble? That someone wants to get rid of us.” “No one has reason to be angry with us.” Bella came to the family’s defense. “We would have had to do something and we didn’t.” She looked at Edward then. “We have to tell the pack.” “Why?” Renesmee snapped. “It’s not their problem. Things like them don’t care about people like me- us.” She quickly corrected herself. It was true that if the Volturi were coming that they would need the pack to help them but that didn’t mean that she wanted them. Well she didn’t mind most of them. Seth was sweet and Sam, though he could be a bit cold, was a pretty nice guy. Everyone knew that Renesmee hated Leah Clearwater. In her opinion Leah was around Jake too much. “Just because you’re in a fight with Jacob doesn’t mean that we don’t need their help.” Emmett mumbled. He hushed up when Edward shot him a glare. Edward hated any mention of Renesmee and Jacob being anything. “I’ll go talk to them if you want me to.” Bella shook her head. “No I’m not going to just make you go down there because Jacob’s mad there’s just no point. We should all go and talk to Sam.”
What was her family trying to do to her? How could they make her go to La Push with them and sit there while Jake starred at her? Edward kept trying to keep her out of Jacob’s line of vision but it wasn’t working out as well as he had hoped. Renesmee kept trying to block out the conversation because she didn’t want to hear about what could happen. Standing up she walked out of Sam’s house to get some air and headed straight for the cliffs. It was the most relaxing sound to hear the wakes hit the rocks. And the salty smell was amazing as well. Renesmee’s favorite part of La Push was the smell. “Nessie!” Renesmee ignored the yell from behind her and kept walking towards the end. She’d sit on the edge and just stare out at the water like she did with Jacob until the meeting was over. When she finally reached the edge she sat down and let her legs dangle over. “Renesmee.” “Go away.” “I just want to talk to you.” “That’s fantastic I don’t want to you.” “Nessie please just for a second.” Renesmee could hear the pleating in Jacobs voice. Standing up she turned to look at him. “What do you want Jacob? I’m really happy that you want to help us out but that doesn’t mean we have to talk to each other.” Jacob took at the edge and then back at Renesmee. “Can you step away from the edge please?” “What scared I’ll go over?” He nodded. Nessie rolled her eyes. “I’m perfectly safe.” “Please?” “No.” Renesmee moved so her legs were shoulder with apart and crossed her arms over her chest. She could hear the ground moving before she could feel it. “Jake.” About three feet of the cliff crumbled under her left foot throwing her off balance and falling to the left. As she started falling she couldn’t help but scream and try to grab at the rocks. Her fingers grabbed on but slipped slicing through her skin. She kept trying to grab at the wall of rock until there was nothing left to grab at and she fell into the icy waters below.
Chapter Four Bella burst through the door of Sam’s house just in time to see Jacob dive over the edge of the cliff. “Renesmee.” She gasped her daughters name before she started running for the beach followed closely by the rest of the Cullen’s, Sam, Seth, and Quinn. Jacob hit the icy water and quickly resurfaced. Renesmee was holding onto the rock wall because it was the only thing keeping her up. She’d never learned to swim. “Jake.” She tried to hold on as another wave pushed her. When he swam closer she wrapped her arms around him and held tight. “Don’t let me go.” She clung to his warm body. That was one thing that always made Jacob different. His body was always warm no matter what was going on around him. Jacob wrapped one arm around Renesmee and used the other to swim towards the beach. As they were nearing the beach a wake hit them causing his hold on her to slip and her to be pushed away from him. She started struggling against the water but couldn’t keep her head up long enough to get a full breath. Once again she was pushed down. Once again she felt warm arms around her and them she broke the surface again. “We’re almost there.” The water slowly started to get shallow as they finally reached the beach. Jacob lifted her into his arms so he was holding her bridal style. Bella ran to the water and met Jacob about waist deep, when she tried to take Renesmee her daughter clung tighter to Jacob. “Renesmee?” Bella was hurt that her daughter was holding onto someone else. “I’m so cold.” That comment made the neglect Bella felt melt away. While Bella was cold Jacob could keep her daughter warm. Once they were on dry land Jacob laid her down carefully and pushed her hair back. Renesmee rolled to one side and coughed water out of her lungs. When she felt a warm jacket around her shoulders she knew right away it came from one of the pack. Her eyes focused on the person above her and smiled at Sam. The smile was weak but she knew it got the point across. But all hell broke loose when Jacob took a step away from her. “What did you do to my daughter puppy?” Edward snapped. “Dad.” Renesmee’s voice was weak as she tried to speak to him but was ignored. “She fell it wasn’t my fault, the ground gave out.” “Oh I’m sure it did. Was she trying to get away from you and you wouldn’t let her?” Edward took a step closer to Jacob. “Dad.” Jacob took a step back getting on the defensive. He knew what Edward was capable of, especially when he wanted to keep Renesmee safe. “No she stood up and it just gave out, I wouldn’t hurt her Edward. I saved her.” “Out of guilt!” “Stop it!” Renesmee’s voice rang out. She was sitting up and holding onto Edwards pant leg. Edward looked down at his daughter and then dropped to her level and pulled her into his arms and held tight. “I don’t know what I’d do if I lost you.” Renesmee started shivering even more when Edward held on to her but she wouldn’t let him move when he tried to. She slowly let go and wrapped herself tighter in Sam’s jacket. Grabbing onto Sam’s hand she started to pull herself up with his help. When she tried to hand the jacket back he shook his head. “But I’m getting it wet.” “And it’s keeping you warm.” Sam smiled down at her. “We should take her home.” Bella took a step closer and took her daughters hand. Renesmee looked at Jacob and then down at her feet. When her mother started walking away with her Renesmee stopped and turned back around. “Jake?” “Yes?” Jacob walked up to Renesmee and looked down at her. “Thank you.” Jacob smiled. “Anything for you.” Bella pulled on Renesmee’s hand and they two walked away leaving the rest of the group there to talk about what needed to be done about the Volturi.

Chapter 5 Renesmee had waited for the rest of her family to come home before she went up for bed. Sure there was school the next day but if she had her way she wouldn’t be there. Renesmee hated having to talk about her ‘siblings’ to everyone. Where Rosalie and Emmett were, how the new couple was, and of course was there a baby on the way? Sometimes Renesmee just wanted to scream. I AM THE BABY! THEY’RE MY PARENTS! But she knew better then to actually do that. “Goodnight.” “Night.” Renesmee continued up the stairs to her room and closed the door behind her before flipping the lock. Sometimes she’d go to the cottage but she truly wasn’t in the mood to go for a run right then. Plus she couldn’t sneak out of the cottage as easily as she could the mansion. She walked by her bed and into her bathroom. Her mind was so preoccupied she didn’t even notice that someone climbed though her window. Jacob landed with barley a sound and looked around the room. He could smell Renesmee in the air. Though her sent was always in the air he could tell that it was fresh. When he saw the bathroom door open he backed against the wall and a little behind the black curtains he’d helped her pick out. Her back was still to him as she grabbed a new shirt out of her dresser and started pulling the one she was wearing up her back. Jacob froze as more and more skin was exposed he didn’t know what to do and wasn’t sure his voice would even work if he tried to use it. The shirt got to the middle of her back before he was able to say something. “Renesmee-” Renesmee dropped her top back down and turned to Jacob. “Holy shit Jake!” She screamed. Almost instantly there was a banging on the door. “I’m fine.” More banging. “Dad I’m fine!” The banging stopped and she was instantly in front of Jake and pushed him backwards. “What the hell was that? I was changing and you didn’t say anything.” “I did.” “Yeah after my shirt was almost off.” Renesmee snapped. “It’s not like I haven’t seen your back before Nessie.” Renesmee glared up at Jacob. The glare was the face he could never refuse. There was rarely hate there but you were never sure what she was going to do. “Go ahead be cocky Jacob I’m sure there’s someone out there that likes a guy like that.” She turned but Jacob grabbed her arm and spun her back around. Holding her arms he pulled her close before pressing his lips to hers. Pulling back he smiled. “You like a guy like that Renesmee.” “Don’t kiss me unless you’re going to stay. You’re not allowed to kiss me and then go back to saying you’re not coming back.” “You have to understand why I said that.” “Yeah because you want to be with Leah.” Renesmee spat the female werewolves name out, the two never got along. Leah was always too close to Jake for Renesmee’s liking and she hated that. Sometimes she wanted to make the little she-wolf disappear. Everyone knew she had the ability to do it but wouldn’t. Jacobs face became hard as he looked down at Renesmee. “You don’t know what you’re talking about Renesmee.” “Oh so it’s not her that you want?” “No it’s not.” Renesmee rolled her eyes and turned away from him. “I’m sure that’s not why you want to get rid of me. Imprinting is such an awful thing when you could just be with the tramp wolf. “Then enlighten me.” Jacob stepped closer to Renesmee so his body was almost touching hers. Reaching out he took her arms in his hands. Her back was still to him and he started to speak. “You don’t want to be with someone like me Renesmee, someone that wont stay young like you will. While you’ll always be as beautiful as you are now I’ll change, I’ll age and I’ll die.” Renesmee shook her head and turned to Jacob. “No, you don’t have to.” “Yes I do. You can’t keep me like this forever. Vampire venom will kill me.” “Mine doesn’t.” “You don’t know that. Little nips when you were younger don’t count as not hurting. Your venom wasn’t strong Nessie.” She continued to shake her head from side to side. “You don’t have to leave because of that. SO what you’ll get older that doesn’t matter.” “Yes it does!” “So what you want to be with someone that’s going to get old with you? Someone that you could actually have a child with?” Now that wasn’t a really fair comment because no one knew if Renesmee had the ability to have a child or not. People didn’t think vampires could have children yet she was alive. Jacob shook his head. “Renesmee that doesn’t matter to me.” “Yes it does, you want children and no one knows if I can have them or not.” “Nessie this is stupid.” “Go home Jake.” “No.” “Fine!” Renesmee turned away from him again, grabbed her clothes and walked into the bathroom before slamming the door behind her. After a few minuets she came back out dressed in a pair shorts and an oversized shirt. Without a word she walked by Jake and turned off the light before climbing into bed. After a minuet she felt the bed shift and then Jacob next to her. Even through the sheets she could feel how warm he was. Things like this happened sometimes and Jake would be gone before she woke up in the morning. He’d stay there for a few hours or until she fell asleep and then sneak out the window. “Goodnight Jake.” “Goodnight Nessie.”
Chapter 6 Renesmee wasn’t surprised when she woke up the next morning with Jacob gone, it was what usually happened when he stayed over. She stretched and rolled over on to her stomach so she was laying on the side of the bed where Jake was hours before. Just once she wished he would be there to wake up to. It was the one thing a teenager wanted to have. They wanted to know what it was like to wake up to the person you love right next to you. She heard the doorknob jiggle before the door popped open leaving Alice standing there. “I hate when you do that.” “Well you’re not supposed to lock it.” Alice paused and looked around the room. “And he’s not supposed to stay over Renesmee you know that.” She rolled her eyes at her aunt’s comment. “You always say that but it never stops me.” “Yes but I’ll always point it out when it happens.” Alice sighed and took a step into the room. “Would you like to talk about what’s been going on?” “What’s there to talk about? Jacob and I fought, and then he came back to talk about it.” “That’s all?” Renesmee groaned. “Yes that’s all! It’s not like be ever do anything else but fight and then talk about it. All the two of us do is fight with each other. It’s really old.” Alice sat on the edge of Nessie’s bed and sighed. “I don’t understand why people fight so much. Jasper and I never fight.” “You two are never angry.” “So? There’s nothing wrong with that.” “I know there’s nothing wrong with that. But people still fight Alice.” Her aunt shrugged. “Just because other people fight doesn’t mean you have to. Strong people move to their own beat Renesmee weak ones follow.” “But normal people follow.” “You don’t want to be normal.” “Yes I do want to be normal.” “I don’t understand why. Jacob doesn’t want someone normal, I’m not normal, your mother isn’t normal, and we all know Roslaie is far from normal.” Renesmee groaned. “But you all found someone!” Standing up Alice took her nieces shoulders in her hands and looked her right in the eyes. “Yes and you did too, just because he’s an idiot and needs some time doesn’t mean you need to be normal to keep him. Renesmee Cullen you are a wonder.” There was a knock on the door and it opened to reveal Bella with her arms crossed. “School started a half hour ago Renesmee. Why aren’t you there?” “Um-” Alice jumped in then. “I needed some help with some things so I kept her home.” She gave Bella a smile and wrapped an arm around Nessie. “Unless you want me to drive her to school, I can always do that.” Bella sighed. “If you want to keep her for the day you can, she hates school anyway why force her to go after yesterday?” With that she turned and walked out of the room. It was clear she wasn’t happy about Nessie staying him but she knew better then to try and say something because it would cause an unneeded fight with her daughter. “Thanks Alice.” “So are you going to La Push?” “No!” Alice shook her head. “I’ll walk out of the room and you can go, I wont say anything to your parents.” With a smile she walked out of the room and closed the door behind her. Renesmee stood there for a moment and chewed her lip. Part of her wanted to get dressed and run to La Push but another part wanted her to stay there and let Jacob come to her. She made of her mind. She was going to school and if Jacob wanted to talk about what had happened then he could come see her. Renesmee was not going to be the one going to him. Faster then a person could register that she moved she was in a new outfit and out the door. “I need a ride to school.”
Closing the door behind her Renesmee ran into the office and handed the note Esme had written to the secretary. After that was over and done with she made her way to her third hour class, English. She handed the pass to the teacher and started walking to her seat but someone was sitting in it. With a frown on her face she took a seat in front of her normal one. Leaning over a little she whispered to Andi Gray. “Who’s he?” Andi grinned and looked at Renesmee and whispered. “He’s new, just showed up today.” She pushed her white blonde hair out of her face before leaning back in her seat. Renesmee sighed and sat normally in her seat. Pulling out her notebook she started doodling on the page. It started off with just a flower and then turned into a ivy boarder around the whole page. When the bell rang forty-five minuets later. Standing up she grabbed her things and started to walk out when the guy behind her stepped in front of her. “Can I help you?” “I’m Damien.” “That’s really nice.” Renesmee moved around him which wasn’t easy in the small space between the desks. Once she was past him she started to leave the room. “What are you the only person here that isn’t going to ask to show me around?” She turned around and nodded. “Yeah actually I am.” Andi laughed and hooked arms with Renesmee. “Way to win him over Nessie.” “What am I doing a bad job flirting?” She laughed and the two walked out of the room and started heading towards their French class. They took their seats at the back of the room only to have Damien come in and sit next to Renesmee. “What do you have the same schedule as me or something?” Damien smiled. “You’ll never know.” That was when Renesmee realized that she wasn’t truly paying attention to Damien. Leaning closer to him she whispered. “You aren’t allowed to be here, its Cullen territory.” He gave her a model like smile. “I know, that’s why I’m here.”
